How to Maintain the Water Purifier to Make Its Service Life Longer

Usage

Before the first use, the water purifier needs to be flushed to wash away the protective liquid inside the water purifier. The method is as follows:
1. Open the tap water faucet, the tap water inlet ball valve, and the purified water faucet fully, and flush for 15 minutes until the produced water is clear and free of foam. During the flushing process, frequently turning the tap water faucet on and off (off for 3 seconds, on for 10 seconds) makes the water flow form a pulsating impact, which will result in a better flushing effect.

2. Close the sewage drain faucet, open the purified water faucet, and it can be used normally after producing water for 5 minutes.

Daily use:

First: Keep away from heat sources.

If the water purifier is too close to heat-emitting appliances such as gas stoves and water heaters and is baked for a long time, the service life of the internal plastic components will be affected. Therefore, the water purifier should be installed away from heat sources.

Second: Avoid direct sunlight.
No matter what type of household water purifier you use, you must pay attention to avoiding direct sunlight during use, because sunlight will promote the growth of blue algae. We remind consumers to properly protect their water purifiers. If you have to place the water purifier on a balcony or other places that may have direct sunlight, it is recommended to build a sun-shading cover or baffle near the water purifier, which can achieve the effect of preventing algae growth.
Third: Pay attention to replacing the filter element in time.
After the water purifier has been used for a period of time, the purification effect will decrease. At this time, you need to replace the filter element and clean and disinfect the water purifier in time. Place the household water purifier in a clean basin, unscrew the filter element from top and bottom. After opening the upper circular cover, you will see two layers of non-woven cotton. Put it in water and brush it gently with a new toothbrush. Unscrew the plastic cap at the bottom of the lower part (the part with multiple layers of stone), there are also two layers of non-woven cotton and sand inside. Brush each of them gently in water, then put the filter element into water and shake it up and down several times. Finally, rinse every part of the water purifier with clean water, and reinstall it in the original way, that's it.  Generally, it needs to be cleaned once about every month.
